1oz of Worsted Weight #3 Yarn in color 2
1oz of Worsted Weight #3 Yarn in color 3
5.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hook

GAUGE - 4dc and 2 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.50mm hook

Cowl - (Made in rounds without turning until edging) -

With 5.00mm hook and color 1 ch186, making sure not to twist ch length, sl st to first ch to make a ring, change to 4.50mm hook.

Pattern Row 1 - (RS) ch3, 1dc in each ch to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (185dc + ch3)

Pattern Row 2 - ch1, (1sc, ch4, 1cl) in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, (1sc, ch4, 1cl) in next dc,* rpt from * to * to last 2dc, skip last 2dc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. (see abbrev for cl instructions) (62cl)

Pattern Row 3 - sl st in first ch4 space, ch3, 2dc in same space, work 3dc in each ch4 space to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Fasten off. (185dc + ch3)

Working in dc's not ch's, rpt Pattern Rows 1 to 3, once in color 2, once in color 3 and once in color 1, turn at the end of the last row.

Edging - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (186sc)

Return to cast on edge and with WS facing work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each ch to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. (186sc)

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim.
