Inc. Increase

3tr Group. 3tr into same space or stitch.

tr2tog.

Leaving last loop on hook work 2tr into next tr,

yrh and draw through all loops on hook.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Materials

30 grams of King Cole big value DK in Colour 1

100 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 2

5.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - 4dc and 5 rows of dc measures approx 1 Inch

Bag is worked in continuous rounds without turning until the end of Row 7

Make magic circle, using 5.00mm hook and colour 1 work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose yarn to close, join with ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (15tr + 3ch)

Round 2 - (Inc) Make 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, work 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (31tr + 3ch)

Round 3 - (Inc) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, 2tr into tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (47tr + 3ch)

Round 4 - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * make 2ch, miss 1tr, work tr2tog (see abbrev) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, make 2ch, miss tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (23, tr2tog, 1tr + 3ch)

Round 5 - (Inc) 1ch, 1dc into next tr, * 3dc into next 2ch space, 1dc into tr2tog, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch space, work 3dc into 2ch space, ss to first dc on beginning of round. (96dc)

Round 6 - 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (95tr + 3ch)

Round 7 - Working into tr's not dc, rpt Round 6 once. Fasten off. Turn.

Round 8 - Join in colour 2, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 3ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, make 3ch, miss 2tr, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (32, 3ch spaces)

Round 9 - ss into first 3ch space, make 3ch, 2tr into same space, work 3tr into each 3ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn. (32, 3tr groups)

Round 10 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 3ch, miss 3tr, 1dc into space before next 3tr group, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, make 3ch, miss 2tr, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn.

Round 11 - ss into first 3ch space, make 3ch, 2tr into same space, work 3tr into each 3ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn.

Rpt Rounds 10 & 11 until fourteen 3tr group rounds have been worked in all. Fasten off. Turn.

Next Round - Join in colour 1, # make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn.

Working in dc not tr's, rpt last round from # four more times.

Bag Handles - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 13dc, make 75ch, (for handle) miss 20dc, work 1dc into each of next 28dc, make 75ch, (for handle) miss 20dc, 1dc into each of next 14dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Next Round - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to first handle, 1dc into each of the 75ch (handle), 1dc into each dc to second handle, 1dc into each of 75ch (handle), 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. (206dc)

Next Round - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row.

Rpt last round twice. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim.
