Materials
60 grams of Stylecraft special DK yarn in Shrimp (1132)
5.00mm crochet hook
TENSION - 5tr and 2 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 5.00mm hook

Made in continuous rounds without turning to 5th Row
Make magic circle, work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose yarn to close, join with
ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (15tr + 3ch)
2nd Row - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on
beginning of row. (31tr + 3ch)
3rd Row - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into
next tr, * rpt from
* to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (47tr + 3ch)
4th Row - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr,
1tr into each of next 2tr * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning
of row. (63tr + 3ch)
5th Row - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * 2tr into next tr,
1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning
of row. Turn. (79tr + 3ch)
6th Row - 1ch, (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into base of 1ch, miss 2tr, * (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into
next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last 4tr, miss 2tr, (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into
next tr, miss 1tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (27, 2ch spaces)
7th Row - ss to first 2ch space, 3ch, 2tr into same space, work 3tr into each remaining
2ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (27, 3tr groups)
8th Row - ss into first tr, * (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from
* to * to last 3tr, miss 2tr, (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) into next tr, ss to first dc on beginning
of row. Turn.
9th Row - ss to first 2ch space, 3ch, 2tr into same space, work 3tr into each remaining
2ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt 8th & 9th Rows until six 3tr group rows have been worked in all. Do Not Turn.
Brim - Working ss into top of 3ch (not first tr) rpt 8th Row. Turn.
Starting with 9th Row continue in pattern as set, turning at the end of each row
until two more 3tr group rows have been worked. Fasten off.
Finishing - Weave in any ends of yarn, fold back brim onto right side of beanie.
Make a medium pom-pom, and attach to crown. I used a Clover Pom-Pom maker size 65mm.
