GAUGE - 4dc and 3 rows of pattern measures approx 1 Inch

Headband - With 6.00mm hook ch81 loosely, sl st to first ch to make a ring, change
to 4.00mm hook, (RS) ch3, making sure you do not twist chain length as you go, work 1dc
in each ch to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. (80dc + ch3)

Pattern Row 1 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next dc, * dc5tog (see abbrev) in next dc, 1sc in each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, dc5tog in last dc, sl st to first sc. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - ch3, 1dc in top of each dc5tog and sc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. (80dc + ch3)

Rpt Pattern rows 1 & 2 once. Turn.

Edging
