Approx finished size:  Tea Towel - 19.5 x 16”
                                       Dishcloth - 11.75” x 10”

Materials
200 grams of 4ply 100% cotton in Main colour
50 grams of 4ply 100% cotton in Contrast colour 1
50 grams of 4ply 100% cotton in Contrast colour 2
5.00mm, 4.50mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks

TENSION - 6dc and 7 rows of dc measures approx 1” square

Tea Towel - With 5.00mm hook make 97ch, change to 4.50mm hook and work 1dc
into 2nd ch from hook, * miss 1ch, 2dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, 1dc into
last ch. Turn. (96dc)

Pattern Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 2dc into next dc, * rpt from
* to * to last dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn.

The last row forms the pattern, rpt Pattern Row in colour sequence as follows:-

10 rows in main colour. Turn

Edging - With 4.00mm hook, make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to
corner, 3dc into corner, working into row ends down first side of towel, work 70dc evenly along to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on ch, work 1dc into each ch to
corner, 3dc corner, working into row ends up second side of towel, work 70dc evenly
along to corner, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc. Turn.

Starting with 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, work three more rows of 1dc into each dc around
all four sides of towel, working 3dc into corners and ss to first dc on beginning of each row. Fasten off.

Dishcloth  -  With 5.00mm hook make 37ch, change to 4.50mm hook and work 1dc into
2nd ch from hook, * miss 1ch, 2dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, 1dc into last ch. Turn. (36dc)

Work Pattern Row same as Tea Towel using colour sequence as follows:-

20 rows in main colour
1 row in contrast colour one
3 rows in main colour
1 row in contrast colour one
3 rows in main colour
11 rows in contrast colour two
Reverse colours for second half as follows:-
3 rows in main colour
1 row in contrast colour one
3 rows in main colour
1 row in contrast colour one
20 rows in main colour. Turn

Edging - With 4.00mm hook, make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to corner, 3dc into corner, working into row ends down first side of cloth, work 50dc evenly along to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on ch, work 1dc into each ch to corner, 3dc corner, working into row ends up second side of cloth, work 50dc evenly along to corner, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc. Turn.

Starting with 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, work three more rows of 1dc into each dc around
all four sides of towel, working 3dc into corners and ss to first dc on beginning of each row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn on both Tea Towel & Dishcloth.
