Materials

Small amount of Double Knitting in Yellow Colour Yarn

Oddments of Double Knitting in Each of Dark Brown, Light Brown,

Oddments of each Rust & Green Colour Yarn for leaves

4.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - Not applicable

Flower Motif - (Worked in rounds without turning) With 4.00mm hook and dark brown coloured yarn, make 4ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 1ch, 8dc into ring, ss to first dc.(8dc)

Row 2 - 1ch, 2dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc. (16dc) Fasten off.

Row 3 - Join in light brown coloured yarn, 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, tr2tog (see abbrev above) into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (15, tr2tog, 1tr + 3ch) Fasten off. (This row may appear to be pulling slightly, but it will flatten out on next row)

Row 4 - Join in yellow coloured yarn to a tr2tog, 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 2tr) into same tr2tog,

* miss 1tr2tog, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next tr2tog, * rpt from * to * to last tr2tog, miss last tr2tog,

ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (8, Petals)

Row 5 - 1ch, 1dc into space below (between petals), * (3tr, 3ch, 1dc into first of 3ch just created, 3tr) into next petal, 1dc into space between next 2 petals, * rpt from * to * to end,

ss to first dc. Fasten off.

Leaf (Make as many as is required in equal colours) - With green coloured yarn and

4.00mm hook make 10ch, 3tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each of next 3ch, 1htr into

next ch, 1dc into next ch, (ss, 2ch, ss) into last ch, (makes a point), working on opposite

side of cast on ch, work 1dc into next ch, 1htr into next ch, 1tr into each of next 3ch, 3tr into last ch, ss to top of 3ch. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn, attach leaves randomly to flower.
