WS. Wrong Side

RS. Right Side

dc. Double Crochet

ss. Slip Stitch

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Finished size approx:- 3 x 3 Inches

Materials

Oddments of Double Knitting Yarn in two Contrast Colours

Oddment of Double Knitting Yarn in White

4.50mm crochet hook

TENSION - N/A

With contrast colour 1 make a magic circle, using 4.50mm hook, make 3ch, (RS) work 9tr into circle, pull loose thread of yarn to close, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn. Fasten off.

Round 2 - Join in white, make 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top

of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn. (19tr + 3ch) Fasten off.

Round 3 - Join in contrast colour 2, work 3ch, (1tr, 4ch, 2tr) into base of 3ch, * 1tr into

each of next 4tr, work (2tr, 4ch, 2tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 4tr, work 1tr into

each of last 4tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn.

Round 4 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 1dc into each dc to corner, work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc)

into 4ch space on corner, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 1dc into last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off all loose ends, make several squares and join together to make bags, blankets etc.
