50 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Stone (1710) Colour 1
50 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Bluebell (1008) Colour 2

1.75 Worsted Weight #3 in each color 1 & 2
4.50mm crochet hook

Gauge - 5dc and 2 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.50mm hook

ch36, (RS) 2dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each of next 31ch's, 4dc in next ch, working along opposite side of cast on ch, work 1dc in each of next 31ch's, 1dc in last ch, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. DNT. (69dc + ch3)

Row 2 - ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.

Work in back loop of stitch only from now on.

Row 3 - ch1, work 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, 5dc in next dc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (12, 5dc groups)

Pattern Row 1 - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, * skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 2dc, 5dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 5dc group, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 2dc, work 2dc in base of ch3, sl st to top of ch3. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, 5dc in next sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, sc and 2dc, skip 2dc, work 5dc in sc, skip 2dc, sl st to first sc. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 once. Fasten off.

Join in color 2 and rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 six more times until 17 pattern Rows have been worked in all. Fasten off.

Join in color 1, work Pattern Rows 1 & 2 twice. Turn. Work Pattern Row 1 once. Turn. (you should have 22 pattern rows worked in all)

Next Row - Continue working in back loop, ch3, dc2tog over next 2dc, 1dc in each dc and sc to last 2dc, work dc2tog over last 2dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. (69dc + ch3)

Working through both loops of stitch, ch3, 1dc in each dc to end. DNT. Rpt last row once. Fasten off.

Chain Tie - Using color 2, ch150. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - (Worked in rounds without turning) using 4.50mm hook and color 2, make magic circle, ch1, 12sc in circle, pull loose thread of yarn to close, sl st to first sc.

Round 1 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, ch2, skip last sc, sl st to first sc. (6, ch2 spaces)

Round 2 - ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc, 1sc) in each ch2 space to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. (6 petals)

Round 3 -
Working behind petals of Round 2, join in color 1 with a sl st to top of sc on Round 1, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch4, 1sc in next sc on Round 1, * rpt from * to * 4 more times, ch4, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. (6, ch4 spaces)

Round 4 - ch1, (1sc, 2dc, 4trc, 2dc, 1sc) in each ch4 space to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in and dcim off all loose ends, thread chain tie through centre row of alternate dc's around top of bottle cover and tie in a bow, sew button to centre of flower then attach flower motif to bottle cover.
