100 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Cream (1005) Colour 1

20 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in each of the 2 Contrast Colours

4.50mm crochet hook

TENSION - 4.5htr and 4 rows measure approx 1 Inch

Base - With 4.50mm hook and colour 1 make 10ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (9dc)

Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt last row 37 more times until 39 rows have been worked in all. Do not Turn at the end of last row.

Main Piece - Working into row ends, work 37dc evenly into row ends down first side to end, 1dc into each of next 9ch along cast on edge, 37dc evenly into row ends up second side and 1dc into each dc along top of work, ss to first dc. Turn. (92dc)

Next Row - Working into back loop only, make 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each dc to end, ss to first htr on beginning or row. Turn. (92htr)

Working through both loops of stitch from now on, rpt last row 4 more times. Fasten off.

# Bobble Row - Join in one of the contrast colours, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * MB into next htr, (see abbrev) 1dc into each of next 3htr, * rpt from * to * to last 3htr, MB into next htr, 1dc into each of last 2htr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in colour 1.

Next Row - Make 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each stitch to end, ss to first htr on beginning of row. Turn. Rpt last row 4 more times. Fasten off. #

Alternating contrasting colours as you go, work from # to # 4 more times. Turn. Do not fasten off at the end of last row and continue with colour 1.

Bag Handles - 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each of next 12htr, make 50ch, miss 20htr, work 1htr into each of next 26htr, make 50ch, miss 20htr, 1htr into each of next 13htr, ss to first htr on beginning of row. Turn.

Next Row - 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each htr and 50htr into each 50ch space, ss to first htr on beginning of row. Turn. (152htr)

Next Row - 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each htr to end, ss to first htr on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in loose ends of loose yarn and trim.
