15 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 1
10 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 2

OR
Small amount of Worsted Weight #3 in each of colors 1 & 2
4.00mm crochet hook

GAUGE - 2, dc3tog and 2 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.00mm hook

With color 1 ch5, sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch3, 10dc in ring, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (10dc + ch3) DNT

2nd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (21dc + ch3) DNT

3rd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 1dc in last dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (32dc + ch3) DNT

4th Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in each of next 2dc, 2dc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, 1dc in each of last 2dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.
(43dc + ch3)

5th Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc. Turn. (44sc)

6th Row - (split) Working through back loop of stitch only ch3, dc2tog in next dc, * ch1, skip 1dc, dc3tog in next dc, (see abbrev for dc2tog & dc3tog) * rpt from * to * to last 4dc, ch1, skip 1dc, 1dc in next dc, turn leaving last 2dc un-worked. (1, dc2tog and 19, dc3tog)

Pattern Row - ch3, dc2tog in first ch1 space, ch1, * dc3tog in next ch1 space, ch1, * rpt from * to * to last dc2tog and ch3, skip dc2tog, work 1dc in top of ch3. Turn.

Fasten off.

Rpt Pattern Row twice in color 2 and twice in color 1. Do Not Fasten off.

Button Loop - ch15 and sl st to top of dc at the base of the 15ch you just made. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - (Worked in rounds without turning) With color 1 make a magic circle, using 4.00mm hook ch1, 10sc in circle, close circle pulling loose thread, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. (10sc)

Next Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each sc to end, sl st to top of ch3. Fasten off. (19dc + ch3)

Next Row - Join in color 2 with a sl st to top of ch3, (ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in base of ch3, * skip 1dc, work (sl st, ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, skip last dc, sl st to first sl st. Fasten off. (10 Petals)

Finishing - Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn. Sew on button to opposite side of button loop. Attach flower motif.
