Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Finished size approx :

15 Inch Circumference x 6 Inch Long

Materials

70 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn

4.50mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks

Decorative buttons

TENSION - 5tr and 2 rows of tr's measures approx 1 Inch using a 4.00mm hook

Boot Cuff x 2

Bottom

With 4.00mm make 19ch, 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn.

(16tr + 3ch)

Next Row - Working into back loop of stitch only make 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.

Rpt last row until 30 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn. Change to 4.50mm hook, Slip stitch cast-on edge and last row of tr's together to form a circle.

Do not Fasten off. Turn.

Working into row ends around the circle, make 1ch, work 2dc into each row end to end, ss

to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (60dc)

Top

Next Row - Make 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, miss last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (30 groups)

Pattern Row - Make 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr, miss last tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row eight more times, making ten rows in all or until work measures approx 6 Inches from bottom to top. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in loose ends of yarn, attach decorative buttons to side of each boot cuff.
