Dec 1 - tr2tog.
Work 1tr into next tr2tog (leaving last loop on hook)
and 1tr into next tr2tog (leaving last loop on hook),
yrh draw through all 3 loops.

Approx size:  8 inch x 4.5 inch

Materials
50 grams of Double Knitting Yarn in Main Colour
Oddments of Double Knitting yarn in 3 Contrast Colours
6.00mm, 5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks, 1 Toggle Button

TENSION  -  3, tr2tog and 3 rows of tr2tog measures 1 inch square

With 6.00mm hook and main colour, make 27ch, change to 4.00mm hook, work tr2tog
(see abbrev above) into 4th ch from hook, tr2tog into each of next 22ch, 1tr into last ch.
Turn. (23 tr2tog)

Pattern Row - 3ch, tr2tog into each tr2tog to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. Rpt
Pattern Row once. Turn. Fasten off. Rpt Pattern Row once in each of the 3 contrast colours. Turn. Rpt Pattern Row twice in main colour.

Reversing colours (ie start with same contrast colour as you ended) Rpt Pattern Row
once in each of the 3 contrast colours. Turn. Fasten off. Rpt Pattern Row three more
times in main colour. Turn. (16 tr2tog rows have been worked in all).

Decrease Row - Working into back loop of stitch only, make 3ch, dec 1tr2tog over next
2 tr2tog (see abbrev above), 1tr2tog into each tr2tog to last 2 tr2tog, dec 1tr2tog over
next 2 tr2tog, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (21 tr2tog)

Working through both loops of stitch from now on, rpt dec row twice. (17 tr2tog) Turn.

Edge - With 5.00mm hook, make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next
8 tr2tog, 2ch (buttonhole) miss 1tr2tog, 1dc into each of next 8 tr2tog, 3dc into corner, working down the first side of case work 2dc into each row end to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on edge work 1dc into each ch to corner, 3dc into corner, 2dc into
each row up second side of case, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc. Fasten off.  

Join sides - fold up case 8 rows from loose loops, with RS side of case facing, rejoin
yarn to bottom left hand side of work, working through back and front of dc's (sealing edges together as you go), work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 15dc, working
on flap, work 1dc into each dc to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc and 2ch space
to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each of next 7dc, working through both back and front
dc (sealing second side of case) work 1dc into each of next 16dc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn, sew toggle button to correspond with buttonhole.
