Base of ch. Work into first stitch

2ch counts as first tr

Size to fit approx:- 2 Pint or 1.2 litre teapot

Materials
35 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 1
15 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 2
5.00mm crochet hook

Front & Back (same) - Using colour 1 make 28ch loosely, 1tr into 3rd ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (26tr + 2ch)

Pattern Row 1 - 2ch, * bptr around next tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 2ch to turn, bptr around next tr, 1tr into top of 2ch. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - 2ch, * fptr around next tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 2ch to turn, fptr around next tr, 1tr into top of 2ch. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 twice. Fasten off. Turn. (7 rows worked in all)

Join colour 2 to top of 2ch with a ss, rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 three times. Fasten off. Turn. (13 rows worked in all)

Join colour 1 to top of 2ch with a ss, rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 three more times followed by Pattern Row 1 once. Fasten off. (20 rows worked in all)

Chain Tie - With colour 2 make 81ch, ss into 2nd ch from hook, ss into each ch to end. Fasten off.

Rosebud - (Make more than 1 if you wish). With colour 1 make 15ch, work 2htr into 3rd ch from hook, miss 1ch, 3htr into next ch, (twice), miss 1ch, 3tr into next ch, (three times), miss 1ch, ss into last ch. Fasten off.

Roll from htr to tr's to make rosebud shape, secure at the back with loose ends of yarn. (do not trim loose ends of yarn, use to sew bud to cosy)

Finishing - Placing RS’s together and leaving openings for the spout and handle, join front and back together by either over sewing or slip stitching. Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn. Turn through to RS. Attach rosebud(s) to centre.

Starting from the front centre on the fourth row from top, thread chain tie through alternative tr's around top of cosy and tie in a bow.
