How to make a cluster
Cl -   * yo insert in stitch and pull through, *
rpt from * to * twice more, yo pull through 6 loops,
yo and pull though 2 loops.

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

ch2 counts as first hdc

Complete:-  80.5” in length, Scarf width 5”

Materials
100 grams of King Cole big value DK yarn in Burgundy
150 grams of King Cole big value DK yarn in Cream

OR
3.5oz of Worsted Weight #3 Yarn in Burgundy
5.25oz of Worsted Weight #3 Yarn in Cream
6.00mm & 5.00mm crochet hooks

GAUGE - 4sc and 4 rows of pattern measures approx 1 Inch

Scoodie - With 6.00mm hook and cream color yarn ch330, change to 5.00mm hook,
work 1sc in ch2 from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (329sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end. Turn. Fasten off.

Pattern Row 1 - Join in burgundy color yarn ch2, * 1cl (see abbrev) in next sc, 1hdc in
next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. Fasten off. (328st + ch2)

Pattern Rows 2-4 - Join in cream color yarn, ch1, 1sc in each stitch to end. Turn.
Fasten off. (329sc)

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 to 4 twice more, then work Pattern Row 1 once. Turn. Fasten off.

Next Row - Join in cream color yarn, ch1, 1sc in each stitch to end. Turn. Fasten off.

Hood - Skip 122sc, rejoin cream color yarn to next sc, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in
each of next 84sc, turn leaving 122sc un-worked. (85sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in sc to end. Turn. Rpt last row once. Fasten off.

Work Pattern Rows 1 to 4 four more times in same color sequence as before.

With WS facing, fold hood in half and sl st sc's together from both sides to make hood.
(see pic below) Fasten off.

Scarf & Hood Edging
With RS facing rejoin cream color yarn to right hand side of neck edge on hood (see pic) Work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each row end along and over seam on neck edge
of hood, 1sc in each sc along scarf edge from hood, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc down
first side of scarf, 3sc in corner, work 1sc in each ch along cast on edge to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each row end up second side of scarf, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc along scarf edge to hood, sl st to first sc. Turn.











Next Row - Working away from hood, ch1, (1sc, ch3, 1sc) in base of ch1, * 1sc in each
of next 2sc, (1sc, ch3, 1sc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * all along scarf edges around to other side of hood (neck edge), 1sc in each sc along neck edge of hood, sl st to first sc.
Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off all loose ends of yarn.
