Materials
30 grams of Patons 100% Cotton DK in White (2691) or pomegrante (2724)
5.50mm & 5.00mm crochet hooks

TENSION - 4tr and 3 rows measures approx 1 Inch using 5.00mm hook

Scrubby (Front) - Using 5.50mm hook make 17ch, change 5.00mm hook, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (14tr + 3ch)

Pattern Row 1 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * tr5tog into next tr, 1dc into each of next 2tr,
* rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch to turn with, tr5tog into next tr, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn.
(5, tr5tog)

Pattern Row 2 - 3ch, 1tr into each tr5tog and dc to end. Turn. (14tr + 3ch)

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 four more times until six tr rows have been worked in all. Fasten off.

Back - Using 5.50mm hook make 17ch, change 5.00mm hook, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (14tr + 3ch)

Row 2 - 1ch 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (15dc)

Row 3 - 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 four more times. DNT.

Joining of Back and Front - Place wrong sides of front and back together, with RS facing and working through both pieces, make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, work 16dc evenly into row ends down first side of scrubby to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on edge work 1dc into each ch to corner, 3dc into corner, work 16dc evenly into row ends up next side of scrubby to corner, 3dc into corner, work 1dc into each tr along top of scrubby, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Scrubby Edging - Starting with 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc around
all sides, working 3dc into corners, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in ends.

To make the scrubby in two shades, work first 3 rows in colour 1 and change to colour 2 every 2 rows thereafter, edge with colour 2.
