60 grams of Double Knitting Yarn

5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks

4 decorative buttons

TENSION - 5dc and 6 rows of dc's measures approx 1 Inch using a 4.00mm hook

Boot Cuff x 2

Top - With 5.00mm make 12ch, change to 4.00mm hook, work 5tr into 7th ch from hook, miss 2ch, 5tr into next ch, miss 2ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (2, 5tr groups)

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 5tr into centre tr of next 5tr group, 1dc into space between next two 5tr groups, 5tr into centre tr of next 5tr group, 1dc into top of 4ch. Turn.

Pattern Row 1 - 4ch, 5tr into centre tr of each of the next two 5tr groups, 1dtr into last dc. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 5tr into centre tr of next 5tr group, 1dc into

space between next two 5tr groups, 5tr into centre tr of next 5tr group, 1dc into top of 4ch. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 until 30, 5tr group rows have been worked in all from beginning. Working in multiples of 2 rows you can work less or more rows here if you wish for a smaller

or wider calf. Slip stitch cast-on edge and last row of pattern together to form a circle.

Do not fasten off.

With WS facing and working into row ends around the circle, make 1ch, 1dc into base of

1ch, work 54 more dc evenly around to end, ss to first dc. DNT. (55dc)

Decorative Edge - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, work 5tr into next dc, miss 1dc,

1dc into next dc, * Rpt from * to * to last 3dc, miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss 1dc, ss to first dc. Fasten off. (14, 5tr groups)

Bottom - With 4.00mm hook, RS facing and working into row ends around the opposite side of cuff, re-join yarn to ss seam, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 57 more dc evenly around circle to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (58dc)

Next Row - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt last row until 17dc rows have been worked in all or work measures approx 6 inches from top. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn, attach 2 decorative buttons to side of

each boot cuff.
