30 grams of Stylecraft special DK yarn in Colour 1

60 grams of Stylecraft Special DK Yarn in Colour 2

5.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - 1 pattern rpt and 3.5 rows measures approx 2 Inches

With colour 1 make 22ch, 1tr into 6th from hook, * miss 2ch, 5tr group into next ch, miss 2ch, 1tr into next ch, make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next ch, * rpt from * to * once. Turn. (2, 5tr groups)

Next Row - 4ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr, * miss 2tr, 5tr into centre tr of 5tr group, miss 2tr, 1tr into next tr, make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * once, working last tr into 4th of 5th ch. Turn.

Pattern Row - 4ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr, * miss 2tr, 5tr into centre tr of 5tr group, miss 2tr, 1tr into next tr, make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr, * prt from * to * once, ending with working last tr into 3rd of 4ch. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row in colour sequence as follows:-

4 rows in colour 1. Fasten off.

# 6 rows in colour 2. Fasten off.

6 rows in colour 1. Fasten off. #

Rpt from # to # until you have 114 rows worked in all or work measures approx 59.5 Inches from beginning.

Edging - Join in colour 2, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 1ch, miss 1ch, 1dc into next tr, make 2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into centre tr of next 5tr group, make 2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to 4ch, make 1ch, work 3dc into 3rd of 4ch, do not turn, working down first side of scarf, work 2dc into each row end to corner, 3dc into corner, work along cast on edge, working 1dc into each ch to corner, 3dc into corner, working up second side of scarf work 2dc into each row end to corner, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end, working 3dc into corners.

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of yarn.
