Materials

Oddments of King Cole big value baby DK in Green and Pastel Colours

4.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - N/A

Leaves - With Green coloured yarn and 4.00mm hook, make 15ch, (RS) 1dc into 3rd ch from hook, 1dc into each of next 5ch, (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into next ch, 1dc into each of next

6ch. Fasten off.

Stem - Re-join green colour yarn with a ss to base of (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) group, (see pic) make 11ch, ss into 2nd ch from hook, ss into each of next 9ch, ss to base of group. Fasten off. (you can add more chains here to make a longer stem if you wish)

Head - Join in contrast colour yarn with a ss to top of stem, make 4ch, ss to first ch, DNT, make 3ch, work 10tr into ring, ss top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Next Row - 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 2dc into tr to end, ss to first dc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in ends at back of flower.
