Materials
Small amount of Worsted Weight Yarn in Main Color
Oddments of Worsted Weight Yarn in Black
(eyes & mouth)
4.00mm & 3.50mm crochet hooks

GAUGE - 5dc and 2 rows of dc's measures approx 1 Inch

Start with Head - (Made in rounds without turning for first 3 rows) With 4.00mm hook and main color yarn, make a magic circle, work ch3, 12dc in circle, pull loose thread of yarn to close circle, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (12dc + ch3)
 
2nd Row - (Inc) ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row.
(24dc + ch3)

Do not fasten off, continue by making ch51, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of next 49ch's, sl st to top of ch3 on face. (50sc)
 
3rd Row - (Inc) ch1, * 2sc in next dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on head on row below. (36sc around head)

Working in ch on opposite side of 50ch length, work 1sc in each ch to end, sl st to first sc. Turn.

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in each sc along to head, skip sl st, 1sc in each sc around face,
skip sl st, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Eyes x 2 - With black color yarn make a magic circle, using 3.50mm hook, ch1, work 4sc
in circle, pull loose end of yarn to close circle, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Mouth - Using 3.50mm hook and black color yarn, ch12. Fasten off.








Finishing - Attach eye's to top of first dc row with a space between them, attach mouth around top of second dc row in a half moon shape, tack to the head each end of ch
length and place 1 tack in the centre to make a smile, (see photo above) sew in and tie off any loose ends.
