yrh pull up loop from next tr, yrh pull through 1 loop,

yrh pull through 2 loops, yrh pull through last 2 loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Size to fit approx: Adult

Materials

40 grams of Stylecraft Special DK Yarn in main (claret 1123)

20 grams of Stylecraft Special DK Yarn in contrast (citron 1263)

4.50mm crochet hook

TENSION - 4tr and 2 rows of tr's measure approx 1 Inch

1st Row - Made in continues rounds without turning throughout.

Using main colour yarn make a magic circle, with 4.50mm hook make 1ch, work 14tr into

ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (14tr)

2nd Row - (Inc) 1ch, 2tr into base of 1ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning

of row. (28tr)

3rd Row - (Inc) 1ch, 1tr into base of 1ch, 2tr into next tr, * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr,

* rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (42tr)

4th Row - (Inc) 1ch, 1tr into base of 1ch, 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * 1tr into each of

next 2tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (56tr)

5th Row - (Inc) 1ch, 1tr into base of 1ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, 2tr into next tr, * 1tr into each of next 3tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row.

(70tr)

6-11th Row - 1ch, 1tr into base of 1ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Join in contrast colour and rpt last row 3 more times. Fasten off.

Join in main colour yarn and rpt last row twice. Fasten off.

Frilled Flower - Made in continues rounds without turning throughout.

Using main colour yarn make a magic circle, with 4.50mm hook make 1ch, work 13tr into

ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (13tr)

Row 2 - (Inc) Working into back loop only make 1ch, 2tr into base of 1ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. Fasten off. (26tr)

Row 3 - Join in contrast colour yarn, make 2ch, work 3extr (see abbrev) into base of 2ch, 3extr into each tr to end, ss to first extr on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Return to loose loops you created with row 2, rejoin main colour yarn to first loop, 1ch, 3tr into same loop, 3tr into each loop to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn, attach frilled flower over contrast colour band on hat.
