Flower Motif
Work in rounds with RS facing, main color yarn and 4.00mm hook, ch5, sl st in first ch to
join in a ring. DNT

Round 1 - ch5, 1dc, ch2 in ring (5 times), sl st to 3rd of ch5. (5dc, 6, ch2 spaces + ch3)

Round 2 - ch1, * (1sc, 1dc, 3trc, 1dc, 1sc) in ch2 space, * rpt from * to * (4 more times),
sl st to first sc. Fasten off. DNT

Round 3 - Join in contrast color yarn to 3rd of ch5 on round 1, working behind petals of round 2, ch5, 1sc in next dc of round 1 * ch4, 1sc in next dc of first round, * rpt from * to * three more times, ch4, sl st to first of ch5 on beginning of round. DNT

Round 4 - ch1, * (1sc, 2dc, 4trc, 2dc, 1sc) in ch4 space * rpt from * to * making 5 times
in all, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.  Sew in and tie off ends, place rose on front of skirt, decorate with buds.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off all loose ends of yarn, attach flower motif to side of beanie hat.
