Beanie Hat - With 4.50mm hook and main colour yarn, make 6ch, ss to first ch to
make a ring. 3ch, (RS) work 12tr into ring, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

2nd Round - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on
beginning of row. (25tr + 3ch) DNT
 
3rd Round - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from
* to * to last tr, 1tr into last tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (38tr + 3ch) DNT
 
4th Round - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into each of next 2tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt

Flower Motif
Work in rounds with RS facing, main colour yarn and 4.00mm hook, make 5ch, ss in first
ch to join into a ring. DNT

Round 1 - 5ch, 1tr, 2ch into ring (5 times), ss to 3rd of 5ch. (5tr, 6, 2ch spaces + 3ch)

Round 2 - 1ch, * (1dc, 1tr, 3dtr, 1tr, 1dc) into 2ch space, * rpt from * to * (4 more times),
ss to first dc. Fasten off. DNT

Round 3 - Join in contrast colour yarn to 3rd of 5ch on round 1, working behind petals
of round 2, make 5ch, 1dc in next tr of round 1 * 4ch, 1dc in next tr of first round, * rpt from
* to * three more times, 4ch, ss to first of 5ch on beginning of round. DNT

Round 4 - 1ch, * 1dc, 2tr, 4dtr, 2tr, 1dc in 4ch space * rpt from * to * making 5 times in all,
ss to first dc. Fasten off.  Sew in and tie off ends, place rose on front of skirt, decorate
with buds.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off all loose ends of yarn, attach flower motif to side of beanie hat.
