5.00mm crochet hook

Commence with Base - With 5.00mm hook and colour yarn 1, make 4ch, ss to first ch
to form a ring, 1ch, work 8dc into ring, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (8dc)
Row 2 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, 3tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning
of row. (23tr + 3ch)
Row 3 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next tr, * 2dc into next tr, 1dc into
each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 2dc into last dc, ss to first dc.
(32dc)
Row 4 - Working into back loop, make 2ch, 1htr into each dc to end, ss to top of
2ch on beginning of row. Turn. (31htr + 2ch)
Row 5 - Working through both loops make 2ch, 1htr into each htr to end, ss to top
of 2ch on beginning of row. Turn. Fasten off.
Rpt last row in colour sequence as follows:-
Twice in colour 2. Turn. Fasten off.
Twice in colour 1. Turn. Fasten off.
Twice in colour 2. Turn. Fasten off.
Twice in colour 1. Turn.
Row 14 - 1ch, (1dc, 3ch, 1dc) into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, (1dc, 3ch, 1dc) into
next htr,
* rpt from * to * to last dc, miss last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten
off.
Chain Tie - Using colour yarn 1 make 60ch. Fasten off.
Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn, thread chain tie through alternate
htr's on last row of colour 2, tie in a bow, attach decorative buttons to each end
of tie.
