GAUGE - 2 groups and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch using 4.50mm hook

Purse (Front) - # With 4.50mm hook ch26, work * (1sc, 2dc) in 2nd ch from hook, skip 2ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, 1sc in last ch. Turn. (8 Groups)

Pattern Row - ch1, (1sc, 2dc) in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, (1sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from
* to * to last 2dc and sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in sc. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row 13 more times, making 15 rows in all. Fasten off.

Rejoin yarn to cast on edge, working in each ch work 25sc along to end. Turn. Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc to end. Fasten off. #

Purse Back - Rpt from # to #

Strap - With 5.00mm hook ch151, change to 4.50mm hook, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc
in each ch to end. (150sc) Do not fasten off or turn.

Purse Edging & Joining of Strap - With sc edge at the top, place wrong sides of purse together, with RS facing and working through back and front of purse, continuing on from strap working in row ends, work 17sc evenly along down first side of purse to corner, 3sc
in corner, working along bottom edge, work 1sc in each of the next 23 stitches to corner, 3sc in corner, work 17sc evenly in row ends up side of purse to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of strap. Turn.

Next Row - ch1, sl st in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip 1sc, sl st in next sc,
* rpt from * to * around sides of purse, work 1sc in each of 150sc on strap, sl st to first sl st. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - Made in continuous rounds without turning. Make a magic circle, With 4.50mm hook, ch1, work 12sc in circle, pull loose thread to close circle, sl st to first sc.

Next Row - ch1, sl st in base of ch1, * 4dc in next sc, sl st in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, work 4dc in last sc, sl st to first sl st. Fasten off. (6, 4dc groups)

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn, decorate with Flower Motif and button.
