Materials

50 grams of King Cole big value baby DK Yarn

5.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hooks

TENSION - 2 groups and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch using 4.50mm hook

Purse (Front) - # With 4.50mm hook make 26ch, work * (1dc, 2tr) into 2nd ch from hook, miss 2ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, 1dc into last ch. Turn. (8 Groups)

Pattern Row - 1ch, (1dc, 2tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, (1dc, 2tr) into next dc, * rpt from

* to * to last 2tr and dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into dc. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row 13 more times, making 15 rows in all. Fasten off.

Rejoin yarn to cast on edge, working into each ch work 25dc along to end. Turn. Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. #

Purse Back - Rpt from # to #

Strap - With 5.00mm hook make 151ch, change to 4.50mm hook, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. (150dc) Do not fasten off or turn.

Purse Edging & Joining of Strap - With dc edge at the top, place wrong sides of purse together, with RS facing and working through back and front of purse, continuing on from strap working into row ends, work 17dc evenly along down first side of purse to corner, 3dc into corner, working along bottom edge. work 1dc into each of next 23 stitches to corner, 3dc into corner, work 17dc evenly into row ends up side of purse to end, ss to first dc on beginning of strap. Turn.

Next Row - 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss 1dc, ss into next dc,

* rpt from * to * around sides of purse, work 1dc into each of 150dc on strap, ss to first ss. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - Made in continuous rounds without turning. Make a magic circle, With 4.50mm hook, make 1ch, work 12dc into circle, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc.

Next Row - 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * 4tr into next dc, ss into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, work 4tr into last dc, ss to first ss. Fasten off. (6, 4tr groups)

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn, decorate with Flower Motif and button.
