30 grams of Stylecraft special DK in Cream (1005) Colour 1
50 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Magenta (1084) Colour 2

1.05oz of Worsted Weight #3 in color 1
1.75oz of Worsted Weight #3 in color 2
6.50 & 5.50mm Crochet Hooks

GAUGE - 6dc & 2.5 rows of pattern measure approx 1 Inch using 5.50mm hook

With 6.50mm hook and color 1 ch99, making sure you do not twist the chain length, sl st to first chain to make a ring.

Change to 5.50mm hook.

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 2ch, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, ch2, skip 2ch, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. Drop color 1. (33, 2ch spaces)

Pick up Color 2.

Pattern Row 1 - sl st in first ch2 space, ch3, 3dc in same ch2 space, work 4dc in each ch2 space to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. Drop color 2. (33, 4dc groups)

Pick up Color 1

Pattern Row 2 - (RS) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 4dc, 1sc in space between next two 4dc groups, * rpt from * to * to last 4dc, ch2, skip 4dc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. Drop color 1.

Pick up Color 2.

Picking up the alternate color yarn between rows, rpt both pattern rows 5 more times. Fasten of color 2. Turn.

Edging - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 2sc in ch2 space, 1sc in sc, * rpt from * to * to last ch2 space, work 2sc in last ch2 space, sl st to first sc. Turn. (99sc)

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

With 5.50mm hook, RS facing and using color 1, return to cast on edge and rpt last 2 rows. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn.
