Materials

30 grams of Stylecraft special DK in Cream (1005) Colour 1

50 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Magenta (1084) Colour 2

6.50 & 5.50mm Crochet Hooks

TENSION - 6tr & 2.5 rows of pattern measure approx 1 Inch using 5.50mm hook

With 6.50mm hook and colour 1 make 99ch, making sure you do not twist the chain length, ss to first chain to make a ring.

Change to 5.50mm hook.

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 2ch, 1dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, make 2ch, miss 2ch, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. Drop colour 1.

(33, 2ch spaces)

Pick up Colour 2.

Pattern Row 1 - ss into first 2ch space, make 3ch, 3tr into same 2ch space, work 4tr into each 2ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. Drop colour 2.

(33, 4tr groups)

Pick up Colour 1

Pattern Row 2 - (RS) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 4tr, 1dc into space between next two 4tr groups, * rpt from * to * to last 4tr, make 2ch, miss 4tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. Drop colour 1.

Pick up Colour 2.

Picking up the alternate coloured yarn between rows, rpt both pattern rows 5 more times. Fasten of colour 2. Turn.

Edging - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch space, work 2dc into last 2ch space, ss to first dc. Turn. (99dc)

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc. Fasten off.

With 5.50mm hook, RS facing and using colour 1, return to cast on edge and rpt last 2 rows. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn.
