Approx size:  9” wide x 10” long

Materials
50 grams of Patons 100% Cotton DK in Main Colour
50 grams of Patons 100% Cotton DK in 2 Contrast Colours
4.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - 4tr and 3 rows of tr’s measures approx 1” square

Dishcloth - With 4.00mm hook and main colour make 42ch, 1tr into 4th ch from hook,
1tr into next ch, * make 2ch, miss 2ch’s, 1tr into each of next 2ch, rpt from
* to * to last ch, 1tr into last ch. Turn. (8, blocks of 2tr + 2, blocks of 3)

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 2ch, miss 2tr, * working over the 2ch and into
the unworked foundation chains on row below, work 1tr into each of the next two
foundation ch’s, (this will enclose the 2ch from row 1), 2ch, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to
3ch to turn, 1dc into top 3ch. Fasten off. Turn.

Pattern Row 1 - Join in first contrast colour, make 3ch, * working over the 2ch and into
the top of the tr's from the row below, work 1tr into each of next two tr, 2ch, miss 2tr,
* rpt from * to * to last 2ch space and dc, work 1tr into each of 2tr on row below, 1tr in dc. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, make 2ch, miss next 2tr, * working over the
next 2ch and into the top of the tr's from two rows below, work 1tr into each of next two tr's, make 2ch, miss next 2tr, * rpt from * to * 3ch to turn, 1dc into top of 3ch. Fasten off. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 in the following sequence:
once each in main colour yarn.
once each in second contrast colour yarn.

** once each in main colour yarn.
once each in first contrast colour.
once each in main colour yarn.
once each in second contrast colour yarn. **

Rpt from ** to ** once. Join in main colour yarn, rpt Pattern Row 1 once. Turn

Edging - 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, ss into each of next 2tr, * working over the next 2ch
and into the top of the tr's from row below, work 1htr into each of next two tr's, ss into
each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to 3ch to turn, ss into top of 3ch, working into row ends
and down first side of cloth, work 37ss evenly along into row ends to next corner, ss into corner, working along starting chains work 1ss into each ch to corner, ss into corner,
working into row ends and up second side of cloth, work 37ss evenly along to next corner,
ss to first ss on beginning of row. Turn.

Next Row - (Working into front loop of ss only) make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each ss to end, working 3dc's into corners, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. Work two more rows in dc, working 3dc into corners, ss to first dc on beginning of each row and turning at the end of each row. Turn.

Next Row - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, miss 1dc, * 3tr into next dc, miss 3dc, * rpt from
* to * to corner, 3tr into centre dc on corner, miss 1dc, rpt from * to * to next corner, 3tr
into centre dc on corner, rpt from * to * to next corner, 3tr into next corner, rpt from * to * to next corner, work 1tr into base of 3ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT.

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 3ch, 1dc into space between next two 3tr groups, 3ch, 1dc into centre tr on next 3tr group, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc on beginning
of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn.
