GAUGE - 5sc and 5 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.00mm hook

Next Row - Working in back loop of stitch only ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end Turn.

Rpt last row until 45 rows have been worked. Do Not Turn.

Start with ch1, work 1sc in each row end along the side of your work to end. Turn. Fasten off. (45sc)

Join in main color.

Pattern Row - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, * skip 1st, 2sc in next st, * rpt from * to * to last 2st, skip 1st, 1sc in last st. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 4 rows have been worked in all. Fasten off. Turn.

Bobble Row - Join in contrast color, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * MB (see abbrev) in next sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2sc, MB in next sc, 1sc in last sc. Fasten off. Turn. (15 Bobbles)

Join in main color and rpt Pattern Row until 30 rows have been worked from Bobble Row or back measures approx 8.5 Inches. Fasten off.

Right Front - # With 4.00mm hook and contrast color ch9, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (8sc)

Next Row - Working in back loop of stitch only ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end Turn.

Rpt last row until 21 rows have been worked. Do Not Turn.

Work Pattern Row from back once. Turn.

Increase Row - ch1, work 3sc in base of ch1, continue with Pattern Row from back to last 2sc, skip 1sc, 2sc in last sc. (27sc)

Work Pattern Row from back and Increase Row once each. Turn. Fasten off. (29sc)

Bobble Row - Join in contrast color, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next sc, * MB in next sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Fasten off. Turn. (9 Bobbles)

Rejoin main color and starting with Pattern Row from back continue increasing 1sc each end of every alternative row until you have 41sc in all. Rpt Pattern Row until 16 rows have been worked from Bobble Row or work measures approx 5 Inches from beginning. Fasten off. (41sc)

sl st or over sew with needle and yarn shoulder seams together, fold sleeves in half and place centre to shoulder seams, sl st or over sew sleeves in position, sl st or over sew side and sleeve seams.

Button/Buttonhole Bands - With RS facing join contrast color yarn with a sl st to lower edge on right hand side of cardigan, work 30sc evenly in row ends up first front edge to corner, 3sc in corner, work 14sc up first side of neck, 27sc along back, 14sc down second side of neck, 3sc in corner, 30sc evenly in row ends down second front edge to end. Turn.

Buttonhole Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc up the front edge to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc along first side of neck, back and second side of neck to next corner, 1sc in corner, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in each of next 6sc, * rpt from * to * 3 more times, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in each sc to end. Fasten off. (5 Buttonholes made)

Finishing - Sew in and tie off any loose ends of yarn. Turn through to RS. Sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes.
