GAUGE - 1 pattern rpt and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Row 1 - With color 1 ch20, (RS) 1sc in second ch from hook, * skip ch2, 5dc in next ch, skip ch2, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Fasten off. Turn. (3 shells)

Row 2 - Join in color 2, ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 2dc, 5dc in next sc, rpt from * to * to last sc, 3dc in sc. Fasten off. Turn.

Row 3 - Join in color 1 ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, 5dc in next sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, working last sc in top of ch3. Fasten off. Turn.

Row 4 - Join in color 3, ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 2dc, 5dc in next sc, rpt from * to * to last sc, 3dc in sc. Fasten off. Turn.

Row 5 - Join in color 1 ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, 5dc in next ch, skip 2dc, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to end, working last sc onto top of ch3. Fasten off. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 to 5 once. Turn.

Edging - ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, * 1sc in each of next 5dc, 1hdc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. DNT.

Working down the first side of the coaster, ch1, work 1sc in base of ch1, 13sc evenly in row ends to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch along cast on edge, 3sc in corner, 13sc evenly in row ends up second side of coaster, 1sc in corner, sl st to next hdc. Turn.

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1 row of 1sc in each sc around all four sides of coaster, working 3sc in corners and sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Patterned Edge - ch1, (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in base of ch1, * skip 2sc, (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * last 2sc, skip 2sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn. Make as many as you need.
